Burke was a good GM and a great President for the Leafs. He inherited a mess of a franchise and slowly but surely improved things from top to bottom. He was far from perfect but I'm grateful we had for as long as we did.

Bozak is only playing in the NHL because Burke didnt draft well enough, but Bozak is great and SHOULD be the leafs first line center.

Burke's draft2012' set the Leafs up for yearr on the blueline. Rielly and Finn in the first and second rounds was a terrific draft.

I never ever criticized the trade for Kessel. Leafs needed a player like him. That was a great trade by Burke with great recognition. The Phaneuf deal was even better. But he still was lacking in other areas.
