Ogi, count your blessings. At least the NHL stops playing whilst the leagues best players are off in the Olympics. Wish the same was true with the CHL and the World Jr's...

Question is, will this impact the CHL (and possibly the USHL and other minor leagues) more if the NHL stops participating in the Olympics after 2014?

Tampa sells out 90% of their games. Actually a nice fun building with a good hockey crowd. Panthers on the other hand, if you come to a game, they do a drawing and you get to a chance to kill penalties during the game.

Don't think it will have any effect on the CHL one way or another. If Canada doesn't send players from the CHL just who would go for them? The twenty odd kids playing in the NCAA?

I have not yet, thinking of going for Hawk game ahead of Tampa game. 3.5 hour ride for me to Miami...Tampa...less than an hour.

I do hear there are always a lot of seats available for Panther games.
