i read that he is by far ready to play with the nhl. what is ten pounds over a year going to do him? gretzky was too small to play in the nhl anyways. does that give anyone a headache?

-He's not quite ready to play 82 games as a top-6 forward. That's something else for a 19-year-old that's not 200 pounds. Teuvo understands that.

-Teravainen, who will turn 19 on Sept. 11, will spend this season with Jokerit in Finland's SM-liiga and could join the Blackhawks as early as the end of Jokerit's season.

-Unless Teravainen appears in 10 regular-season games this season, his contract will slide and he won't become a restricted free agent until after the 2016-17 season.

i get it. we have enough guys who can try to be great 2nd line centers. hopefully, mcneill will not be considered at all. just fyi, whatever people say, dont take it for face value. teuvo is never getting big. so throw that away. i will quit with this and let preseason speak for itself when he scores way more than the other wannabe 2nd line centers!

Unless T-Squared is the last piece to another cup run, I don't foresee the kid playing with the big boys this coming season.

Who the Hell ever posted that, other than you?

As for this season's #2 center, it's going to be the same as it has been for the past 4 seasons. It will be whoever Q feels comfortable with coupled with what Q has available to him.

Possibly Teravainen will push for the #2 center spot in '14-'15. Or maybe Teravainen will push Sharp into that role?
