Toews.
Yeah, I'm a Lightning fan and... Toews.
The kind of two-way play that he brings to a team, with his leadership, its unreal. He's clutch, he plays equally well in all three zones and I doubt Chicago would have their 2 cups without him. His play, even when not scoring, makes that team what it is and allows guys like Kane, Hossa and Sharp to do their thing.
He's a generational talent, in my opinion, and at this point, gets the edge on Stammer.
That being said, nothing wrong with Stamkos. He's certainly no slouch in his own zone. Also, the comparisons of KESSEL to Stammer are laughable at best. I just feel like the more accurate contest for play-style would have been Stammer VS Tavares.
That, and you can't teach 60 goals... - OzBolts

And Purcell, who is one of the more underrated guys in the league, but...
Compare the goaltending, defense and bottom 6 and it's not even close. - OzBolts
Agree with you... but look at who he plays with primarily.
Chicago FAR out ranks most teams on D.
I don't take Cup wins into the equation in debates like this as they are team wins not individual. Look at some of the great players that never won cups, but individually were great players.
I still like Toews for his all-round ability. But really... can you choose wrong between two guys like this? I don't think so. |

musically their last album is actually their best album. they weren't even close to soundgarden though. trust me, i wanted them to be real real bad, but they weren't. i like both bands but it's not really a contest in my opinion.

they used a few of their songs, but the one they used the most was be yourself cause one of the diva contests had a theme song and they used that. the contest took forever, so you heard the song forever. AND as if that wasn't embarrassing enough they played it whenever they even had the divas come out - to talk or do some goofy competition or whatever.
it sucked. months and months of this. |

yes, you are correct, they did play the hell out of that song, but before that they abused the highway song as well |

Well done indeed! You missed the overall point jack ass. If you would have taken the time to comprehend what I wrote instead of jerking off over trying to figure out how to insult me, you would have realized I was speaking in generalities, not specifically about Toews. - MnGump
But you implied Toews is a part of that general group of "good two way Cs", which is pretty (frank)ing stupid. |
