Nice. This has to be a prove it year for the Flyers they had a really good season when Jagr went there and did wonders for the players then dropped the ball the next season albeit with a lot of injuries but lots of teams suffered big time injuries last year. If they dont make it this year do they blow the D up maybe move Cooter or B Schenn for a stud D ?

Yeah, this is a big directional year for the Flyers. If they don't make the playoffs this year, I think there will be big moves no question. I could see one of them, maybe both being moved for the right pieces.

I'm curious to see how Jersey clicks with Jagr and their other additions.

Haha, for sure. I think Jersey will be ok actually. People forget that Clowe, Ryder, Jagr, and a full-time Loktionov will easily out-produce what Kovalchuk would have scored next season. Yeah of course the loss of Ilya hurts, but NJ did decently to replace that production.

I love when Toronto fans (not all of them) feel the need to say you also lost Clarkson like he is such a huge loss. I am really excited to see Schneider play and I full feel he should get the balk of the games if our goal is to make that draft pick as close to 30 as possible. I mean there is no doubt in my mind that the Devils make the PLay offs last year if they had Schneider instead of Hedberg he lost 10 or 11 games in a row in a shortened season if Corey even wins 5 of those games that gives us 58 pts and puts us in the playoffs.
