I really liked both. I'm happy with ether so far.

Yup, other than lacking in style, a very well written piece with lots of bang-on facts...it's kinda hard to argue with facts.

But . . .

I seem to be alone on this, but I actually liked RC's style. Fact mixed with opinion, serious mixed with insane humour, sublime & absurd all at once...but at it's base, a love for hockey, a love for the Oilers. I "got" the guy.

I, personally, will miss him here. I'm still following his writing elsewhere, but he was the reason I came here originally. He'll not be replaced easily. He entertained me almost every day. Like him or not, he really knew how to stir the pot, and (he) loved every minute of it.

No worries. I've been pushing ek for a ref here for a long time. Glad some of these douches won't come in here feeling like they can get away with anything they want. This is great! No Clout. No trolls! Good blogs. Old regs can still get up to shenanigans...
