Martine Forget vs April Reimer
- Symba007
these two images show how short Elisha is. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but Reimer's wife looks like an Amazon beside her, but looks pretty average when next to her hubby. |

Bernier is a better goalie than James Reimer, flat out. He's had incredible numbers his whole career and has fewer injury question marks. I like Reimer, and he'll find a home as below average starter somewhere in the league... but JB will become a solid starter when given the opportunity this year as a Maple Leaf. - PotvinFan
Bernier hasn't even played 60 games in the NHL yet, and when he has it's been in front of a defense I'm sure you will concede has been much better than the Leafs. Oh yeah - and the GAA/Sv% numbers are pretty similar. |

Should be an interesting training camp. Best case scenario for Nonis' end game is they both play well, Bernier takes the net and Reimer is flipped arund February. I think it's Bernier's net by Christmas regardless, barring some catastrophic play. |

If he would have done that last year , he wouldn't have been moved to the third line and lost the ice time he needed to put up the points required to justify 5.5MM !

I don't believe there will be a controversy. Go with the hot hand - period. Now if they give the net to Bernier by default... the fans will be pissed off - and rightfully so. Reimer hasn't done anything but respond whenever there's been some controversy.
Kadri and Franzen will both be in the line-up starting night. They'll both ink deals like Subban did... if they have an ounce of brains.
Kessel will sign a 7.5/year deal for max term... and Phaneuf will sign a 6.5/year deal.
The only question mark will be how long they keep Liles around for. - BorjeFan4Ever

this is a completely retarded statement.. if hes had incredible numbers then so has reimer... their numbers are pretty equal ... not to mention reimers actually played strings of games comparable to what a starter would play... not just the easy games when quick needs a rest |

only way there's a controversy is if Bernier cannot outplay Reimer on a regular basis and they split starts. not buying this tandem stuff. Leafs gave up a second rounder and a top 9 forward. you don't give up that package for a guy who might start. i think it's Bernier's job going into camp hands down. Reimer would have to outplay Bernier in order to get split starts. |

and I also wouldn't sell Reimer short. He's faced quite a bit of adversity in a short career and seems to be the kind of person who thrives on a challenge. Could be the source of Carlyles toughest decisions this year. That, and when to unleash Bozak to put the game away. |

I think the season is a failure if Bozak doesn't play 55+min a night.

This is very true.
You don't even have to go that far. Just cross from Ottawa into Gatineau and it's a whole different world of hotness. |

Yes, the Ugirls help for sure, but it's more than that. There's a general level of hotness inherent to Quebecoise city girls. I think it might be as simple as they just care about looking good more than their Ontarian counterparts. Or maybe the grass just looks greener on the other side. Someone should do a scientific study. |

His whole career? He's played 63 NHL games (won 29). You're crazy if you think bernier is the saviour. |
