Honestly I like the new fighting a lot. I dont know if it was just because of the demo but my player I was fighting with got stuck and I could not shake loose or try to punch. I had to restart the game. Hopefully that does not happen when it is released on the 10th.

I lost every time and i watched the fighting video they released and i wasnt having much luck with the dodging and clinching but i love that you can one punch a guy and do little celly's nothing better then dusting someone off and just going WOOOOOOO right after

I can just see him jumping up and swinging. I hope they make Boucher a good prospect instead of what they have him at in 13 and I really hope they have the rights to put the college kids in there ! this should be the first year we will have Merril and it will be interesting to see what kind of stats and potential they give him

Regarding the signing of Adam Henrique, I have a different theory of why he has yet to sign with the Devils. It would not surprise me that both Henrique and his agent may not be happy with the short term and the long term offers made to them by Lamoriello. After all, Lamoriello does have a reputation to maintain as a tough negotiator.

I happen to believe that both Henrique and his agent are waiting to see what Mikhail Grabovski and Peter Mueller with sign for so they can use that information to negotiate for better offers from the Devils. If they were also waiting to see what Scott Gomez signed for, they must very disappointed that Gomez only signed for $900,000 for one year with the Florida Panthers. With the NHL having a lower salary cap for this year and with only a handful of teams carrying enough of a salary cap to sign free agents, the wait to see Grabovski and Mueller sign may be a long one.

I also agree that it very important for the Devils that Henrique is signed by the time the camp opens on September 10th when players are due to report for their physicals, but for a different reason. This coming season, the Devils will have Zajac, Loktionov and Henrique competing to see who will center the 1st , 2nd and 3rd lines. Josefson will also be competing to be 3rd line center, 3rd line LW or 4th line center. It is much to his own interest that Adam Henrique be signed and be ready to compete for his place on the team before camp opens.
