Agreed.

I think Kruger would be a good fit between Sharp and Hossa. Kruger has always struck me as more of a playmaker (rather than a goal scorer), and him feeding the puck to those two would work out just fine, in my opinion. The FO % definitely has to improve, but the idea of Sharp sliding over and taking the crucial faceoffs for the time being isn't a bad idea.

If Kruger takes the 2C role and Handzus doesn't play every night (due to injury or rest) who centers the 4th line on those off nights? Does Q try to play Smith at centre or maybe LeBlanc? Does the Hayes centre experiment move from Rockford to Chicago?

Kooool Aiiid JJ,
What flavor today? 3 peat, Dynasty, Favorites ect.
kids from Rockford becoming the next Marcel Dionne!
Hell, JJ, the fricken pre season games at the UC are being sold for "juice money",there must be alot of high paying jobs out there for the 20 somethings these days or Mr. Mcdonough is doing a fabulous job of getting the product out there!
hell , how much could I get for these pre season games ? usually I just give them to the guys who take a few games off me during the season when I am working so they could take their sons to see the Hawks.
on a serious note JJ, hockey , I believe is the hardest of the major sports to repeat championships, hell , look at the Pen's , with Syd & Malkin & all of their good drafts early on. Hawks will be a very good team for the next little while & Q will rotate his centers among 5 or 6 guys until his next 2 supposed Jewels are ready. no one will be firmly entrenched in any center position other than Toews at the #1. Q is a master at that!

Good stuff EK....Marcus showed he can shoot the puck with a nice tally on a snapshot late in the season. I'd love to see him do that more. Also wonder if he'll retain a prominent role on the pk ? Would seem to be a certainty given his prowess in that role last year.
