Ps4 does have better hardware. Really though unless you've got a top of the line T.V and even then are you really going to notice. I think that the winner will be whoever has the best service. Not a whole lot of exclusives anymore. X box has back peddled to fix what was going to be wrong. Sony was never that dumb. I like the x box t.v for fantasy sports, weather or not Ill use it remains to be seen. Im pretty sure it wouldnt be hard for PS4 to adapt its system to do the same thing.
