WTF?
- Cptmjl

Your always questioning the Rangers , always something negative, 2 yrs ago ECF, last year we finish 6th even though we had an awful season. What exactly did the Isle do thats so impressive, you've picked in the top 5 overr an over and still suck. Other than Tavares you guys have ZERO. Unless of course Moulson, bailey, okposo should bE considered studs, please come back to reality for a few.

Somewhere the real Adam Graves is shaking his head in disgust that somebody who is crying like a biotch would have his name attached to it

Be relevant for more than 1/2 a season, then we can talk hockey.

Guessing you weren't alive when Graves played. Either that or there is some other problem?

I miss the Gallof brothers. Their Islander Ranger back and forths and their photo shops were hilarious. They are two funny bastards. That being said I don't think any of the other bloggers on this site have the hockey acumen that Jan has.

I'm honestly not a huge fan but most players that have three seasons with 30 or more goals are usually considered studs? How would you describe Stepan if he was able to accomplish that?

What is wrong with a guy that scores goals? Quite a few of them too? Do you rangers fans not enjoy these types?

I'm not trying to sell you on anything. I gave my opinion which doesn't agree with yours so that makes me wrong. I get it. My team has only won four cups in the last 33 years(which I witnessed)and was lucky to squeak(1 point less than the Rangers) into the playoffs in a shortened season so I don't qualify as knowledgable enough to discuss hockey in your opinion. I then say Moulson has 3 thirty goal seasons under his belt(after you in so many words call him a waste of space) and you again question my hockey IQ. Does anyone else see the irony in all of this? The funniest thing about all of this is I have zero problem complimenting the Rangers when i fell it's warranted whether it be a player or otherwise. I'm not three years old so stop implying that I behave that way because it couldn't be further from the truth. Again, answer the question. How would you describe or with what word would you describe stepan if he had three 30 goal seasons?

Thanks all for the kind words much appreciated. Now play nicely in the sandbox, Islanders and Rangers fans can agree to disagree on their teams, but stop the name calling etc. or I'm calling mom

I think we all can agree Moulson has been aided by playing with Tavares, but 30 goals is still 30 goals, regardless of who he skates with. I mean Moulson is clearly more talented than Rob Brown...

The more I think about it, the more I believe many people will be astonished at how much natural talent Tortorella's system was suppressing. The Rangers have had to overload on offense just to break the "bonds" they had in the Torts system. Just an example, a player of Hagelin's speed should be getting breakaways left and right like Grabovski. Instead, Hags was forced to play in a system that made him stay at his own hashmarks or even lower. We've seen Hags speed burst around Dmen before, or seen him chip the puck off the boards to himself to get a step. Now, in a system that promotes more Offense, he should be able to play 5-10 feet higher in his own end which will give him more breaks. Also, the wingers will check the pointmen tighter which could even cause more relief in their own end breaking cycles and reducing point shots. Its tough to transition to offense or even get any flow when your fowards are all picking themselves off the ice and out of position to break out.
