The islanders "sick" offense late in the season was a product of everything going well as well as josh bailey playing unreal. As we've seen with the rangers when they went to the ecf and then got bounced in the 2nd round, just because everything goes well one season definitely doesn't mean it will the next season. And we have yet to see if bailey will consistently play at that level. History says probably not.

True but I would think last years Rangers team is more in line with what you will get then the 2011-2012 team.

Of course, anyone who doesn't agree with you has a biased opinion. In the real world people people have opinions bud. Deal with it. When you throw "Rick Nash is the best power forward in the league" out there guess what? Very few people if any will agree with you. It has nothing to do with me being an Islander fan but more to do with you being a Ranger fan for making such a ridiculous comment in the first place.

No question that this year's edition will be different than the 2011-2012 team but that's primarily due to what we hope is having a club that relies less on shot blocking and playing a defense-first style and more on creating offense while playing solid D. It will be interesting but there is no reason this club can't finish second in the division and perhaps even push Pittsburgh. If they stay healthy and get a couple of guys to bounce back then I think the Rangers will be fine.

I guess someone would need to tell me who is even eligible for that category before I could offer an opinion on that front. Ovechkin? Perry? Lucic? Getzlaf? Hartnell? Guys like that? I think Rick Nash would certaintly be in the Top 5 of that category, but I don't know. Who really cares, I guess.

That comment about nash was a trolling comment to the oilers fans and blogger because of his ridiculous trolling blog buddy.

You know, kinda similar to that whole trolling debacle we had in one of the rangers blogs a few weeks ago when I said nash was a hell of a lot better than tavares.

Hey boys,

Not sure if you guys can help out but anything would be appreciated. I'm playing in a tournament this weekend called Checking For Charity in which each team plays for a specific charity and the more games you win, the more money your charity gets from the pot. My team is called "Something About Mary" and we are playing on behalf of the captains sister-in-law who has breast cancer. Our charity is the Fox Chase Cancer Research Center and all donations will be made in her name.

Please if you could, head over to www.checkingforcharity.com and send over some money, even if its $1. Any donations made in our team's name, 50% goes to our charity, the other 50% goes into the pot for everyone to win.

If you guys aren't busy this weekend I highly suggest heading down to Vorhees to see some of the games. The A division last year had Riley Cote playing on his team "Hungry Hempos" and Paul Gaustad playing on the "Hockey Giant" team as well as a few others. Supposedly Kjell Samuelsson and a few other former Flyers will be playing on a team I'm playing against Saturday so if you don't hear from me, i was killed blocking a shot lol

Help save second base!

Thanks bro! Anything helps!

I know the captain said she perked up immensely after seeing us play for her last year and has been doing great ever since so I'm hoping this year helps out even more!
