As for who steps up? Top 3 choices right now for the C are Spezza, Phillips abd Neil. As for face if the franchise and leadership there's those 3, Karlsson, Anderson and a few more. Personally I hope the Bolts make the playoffs ahead of the Habs and Leafs. I'm not an expert on your roster but I'd be concerned with the D and G.

Our defense issues fall on coaching. A similiar defense took us to game 7 of the coference finals and then went to hell. If the Bolt make it, they'll be bottom seed. Goaltending is the only position I see up in the air. Bishop and Lindback are both good, but a full season battling for the number one spot will tell the tale.

Get used to it. Chicks with Richards will be the new normal.

Part of me says we will be pummeled next year, the other part of me says we will be able to get it up and stay competitive.

We are entering the season with a ton of variables. Cooper's "system", goaltending, prospects making the jump, new division.

It should all be exciting and gut wrenching.

And yes, I hope we don't get off to a 6-0 start again.
