well if i'm looking at this from an oilers stand point, wouldn't mind having him on the third line. Yet it would have to be a one year contract at around 1M or slightly above that number unles the oilers move some bodies. Having said that would be very surprised to see raymond in oilers colors |

on a team that needs a 2nd line winger, and that relies on breakout speed. He could be another grabner.
But on a team that relies on grittier play or having him on the third line...its not going to help.
Dallas could actually use him. |

If I were Jim Rutherford, I'd sign this guy for around 2M. Still young, good skater and alot of potential. Could be another under the radar signing. |

Yeah, Carolina wouldn't be a bad fit. I think Dallas is where he lands, though. No real reason. |

I still think Raymond has a lot to offer an NHL club and I'm sure he'll sign a deal soon. My money is on a 1 year deal between $1.5 - $2.0 million, he'll get a chance to prove himself and make the most of being a UFA next summer. Winnipeg and New Jersey (especially) are two teams that would do well to sign Raymond. |

This guy is a really underrated player. Some lucky team is going to get themselves a cheap top 6 forward and a playoff warrior that will do anything it takes to win. He's one of the grittiest players I've ever seen.
Incredibly strong on his skates as well. - Nucker101

I find this one very puzzling because I always said that Raymond was one of the only guys I would want from the Canucks' roster...I guess I haven't seen him play enough or something but what I saw I really liked. This guy can skate and seems to compete.
Canucks fans, what is the deal with this guy? Why is no one signing him? |

Probably wants multi year contract or wants to be top 6/PP and no one wants to offer him that.
If you could sign him for 1 to 2 million for a year, it could work out for someone, low risk/high reward.
I think he could fit with WSH, NSH, CBJ (with Horton injured), or PHO. Who knows where he will end up. |

I'd love to have him on the Pens over a guy like Glass who is making 1 mil per. I think he'd compliment Sutter nicely. |

He's a perimeter player. His best work is early in the season before the going gets tough. Loses every puck battle, falls down quite easily. Probably wants much more than he's worth.
Much better suited to the zero interference tolerance rules..... |

If you want a soft player whom may score All 11 goals in a month then disappear only then your team deserves him. |

I would like to see Raymond in Winnipeg. I'm not sure they have the cap space to make it happen though, they'd need to move out a contract unless he's a 1 mil a year signing, I don't see it happening. |

ANH should sign him and play him with Cogliano. Some serious speed there. Very similar players IMO in speed and style. |
