Not if he meets McCarron
- jugkope

As long has he makes it to the NHL, he has no worries of that.

Please, McCarron is a surefire NHLer, even if it's as a 4 minutes/game goon.

They have some good prospects, in 3-4 years Barkov playing with Huberdeau is going to be pretty sick.

McCarron is going to the right system to boost his career, if he can't succeed in London then I'd be a little worried. I expect him to do well, though.

I did see a bit of Nick Bjugstad with the Gophers getting a look at the Wings Ben Marshall. Pretty good prospect and was pretty dominant every time I saw him on the ice. While his numbers might not have been eye popping so to speak, they were still pretty good. Sheahan was scoring way less than him in College hockey and did better last season in the AHL...after his teletubby debacle that is. I wouldn't worry about Bjugstad much, I think he will be solid down the road soon.

Great group of prospects and good write up although I don't think I would still have Markstrom as a prospects anymore with 31 NHL games already played for a goalie.

Trocheck reminds me of Patrick Sharp. Trocheck can score or he can be an effective energy player. Very underrated.

Right now, expectations for him are not too high, from what I've seen.

People want him to be about a ppg player in the O this year, and expect him to be a 15-20 goalscorer playing on the 3rd line with some PP time in the future, so it all looks realistic-ish.

Way you describe him, Quentin Howden reminds me of a smaller McCarron.
- jugkope

Howden is more like a Mike Keane

I agree markstrom is now in the NHL and most likely will be the starter or will be splitting time.

Puma's an endorsement of the sporst company, and Cougar has another meaning.

Howden can skate.

So can Jack Skille. Both can't score.

Let Trockeck play an NHL game before you star comparing him to Sharp lol.

I love the honorable mentioned McFarland. Tallon always mentioned him during interviews, it's funny how he never brings up his name anymore, it's always the Trochecks and Bjugstads.

I have high hopes for the defensive prospects, Ian, Alex and Mike should pan out, offensively I really don't know. I just really hope Barkov ends up being an all star center because this organization really needs that.

Check out NHL Young Guns Daily on twitter @YoungGunsDaily. They covered Grimaldi, Rau, Barkov, Trocheck, and Petrovic as well as Racine as prospects. Adam gives great reports, but check it out anyway for a few more depth prospects.
