. He may be entertaining at times but most of what he reports is pure fiction based on probability with exceptions to articles such as this one which I could have reported three weeks ago via TSN or Darren Dreger.

example of possible probability report on Bryzgalov.... list two teams with possible interest Calgary who enters the season with Kari Ramo pencilled in to carry the workload. Ramo has not played in the NHL in 4 years so of course Bryz could be a possible target of Calgary same goes for Edmonton Dubnyk being young bringing in Bryz could be a security net if needed.

Grabovski rumors of cours you can list the Devils and the Caps. Devils lose Kovalchuk they need to replace scoring and have cap space to fill. The caps love European players and loss of Ribiero could make Grabovski an attractive alternative at a lesser cost.

I didn't need any source to tell you these things.... all you need is a TV and a sports package. I don't come to this site fr rumors I like the hockey talk and the articles by some of the HB Bloggers.

I was thinking about posting something about Gagne here, but this doesn't seem like the appropriate place.

I actually think Grossmann is a bargain. He's their best defensive defenseman. He's their only true "crease clearer". He blocks a lot of shots. And when he hits someone they surely feel it. He's a valuable player. And, before his injury, he was arguably the teams best defender. Keeping him doesn't prevent Gustafsson from playing. If they can move Mez their top 6 would be (not in order): Timonen, Streit, Coburn, Schenn, Grossmann, and Gustafsson, with Gervais as the #7. Not a great corps, but certainly not as bad as ppl make it out to be (when all healthy). Don't trade Grossmann! Mez is one who's gotta go.

You've obviously never read Meltzer. I check out most blogs that go up on this site and Meltzer is by far one of the best. I'm not trying to be biased as a Flyers fan, it's the truth. He shows little bias, uses logic and facts to make his points, is a solid writer, and brings an informed perspective. Basically, he's the total opposite of Cloutier.

While I agree with you, I am getting sick of these new "Hockey Buzz Rules" where you can not comment on another team based on what you have listed under your username.

It is everyone's biggest rebuttal now. Look at who made the comment and what team they cheer for and then attack that team as if nobody watches or has an opinion about any other team.

for 3.5 mil to play on the bottom pair? no thanks. I'd take cheap homegrown talent over committing 7.1 mil to the bottom pair. especially for a team in a salary crunch with lots of young kids to sign in coming years... not to mention Gagne is still sitting there. I like Grossmann but not for anything over 2.5 and certainly not enough to trade Meszaros or Coburn over, even if Mes is ufa next summer.

Bryz wasn't terrible, he was crazy just like the sabres giving Leino a 6 year contract but that's your owner trying to play with the big boys.

I think Gagne still has it if he can stay healthy. He is a good, smart player with speed. How do you just lose your shot over night? He has been thrown around to TB and LA and has dealt with injuries. I definitely think Flyers need to re-sign him. I can see him working his way up to playing with Giroux or Vinny if healthy and that would translate into something like 30 goals 35 assists. IMO

IKR!? Grossmanm and Schenn have been rocks for us, Timonen is obviously our best.

I too think he could hit 50-60 pts again but I think it would be unreal for Couturiers development if he had someone like Gagne to team up with on that third line!
