Marc André Bergeron was excellent in offensive zone but still is really poor in his own. I know he's a rookie and will do better with time but we shouldn't be sure at this point that despite of offensive abilities he won't be able to ajust to the NHL Level on his D game. I said green since most of the D that Richard prays about being #1-2 in the NHL haven't prove anything yet. Ference and Smid are good but won't be able to fulfill those roles.

I love the Oilers and I'm not agains't anyone here but teams like the Blues and the Blackhawks should be #1 way before the oilers. Oilers should be rated #3-#7

I think it might be time for you to stop visiting this site for a while. People might not agree with Richard all the time but personal attacks like this cross a line. My folks used to tell me, if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all.

Nothing uve said is false. And there's certainly no guarantee schultz will ever be a defensive stalwart.
But i think his obvious high hockey iq will at least make him competent defensively.
Ill take an elite offensive guy with average defensive abilities in a heartbeat.
Either way, i think MAB will prove to be an extremely poor comparison. Just my opinion.

And no, neither ference nor smid are top pairing guys. But can both be dependable quality defenders.

As far as 1 and 2 etc, you might be confusing team skill with who clouts thinks is the most interesting.
Clouts loves his hits and will say what he needs to to get posts. But if if the oil are in fact his 1 most intetesting, it's tough to argue opinion in that context

Honestly, bloggers are just fans. They don't have any more knowledge than any of us, but they put in the work and effort to make this site what it is. Take it with a grain of salt and relax. It's a unique place to talk hockey. Just read the message boards if you don't like the bloggers work.

It's weird you seem to not take any team history etc into weather a team is interesting. You also claim some team arnt interesting because they arnt good but then you say you don't have to be good to be interesting.
Then you rank a team like Chicago so low. A team with such great history and fans. That won the cup not long ago then had to dismantle the roster for cap reasons. Then turn around and win another cup. Along the way having great stories like ray enemy's comeback and so on and so on. I'm not sure you know what the word interesting means. This seems to be a list of your favourite teams and then some random fact that popped into your head written below. Basically I disagree with your list
