I think in his prime McCabe was a little better. - RogerRoeper
My opinion...for me...no. How many minutes was McCabe in his prime. And after the rag doll incident I didn't want to watch him again...and didn't we all think that year was a flash in the pan and the Leafs were crazy to have offered him that contract. As soon as the opposing forwards figured out Kaberle would never shoot, McCabe was done offensively. I loved to see his sorry ass traded, in fact was shocked they actually found someone to take him. Him and his freakin can opener - rules changed and he was lost defensively.
But other than that...he was a great guy. |

i think he is slightly overpaid.. but not by a lot
i would peg him as a 6million dollar guy
the next contract he gets.. if it goes up from the 6.5.. i'll just think its that much more of an overpayment..
i do also think we are about to watch a transformation in his game.. its like carlyle is molding him into what he ought to be - Dozzer
Carlyle recognizes his strengths and weaknesses. Carlyle was able to get him to play to his strengths without asking him to do too much.
I think if we want to keep him it will be at $7M.

Me too, I also saw Styx with Gowan on keyboards, I have seen a lot concerts there, still one of the best venues around. |

Sidenote: Speaking of small venues, I saw a band I really like at a 600 person venue and it was the first time I went there. The place is where U2 played it's first concert in the US. Small venues kick ass if you get to see a good band there. Only problem is tickets sell fast and then are scalped at a ridiculous high rate - RickJames77
yeah.. i like the few hundred people venues... i even like the smaller ones.. less than a hundred.. always seems to be the most fun |

No doubt Dion could use some help...and once again as stated on here numerous times, if Gunnerson is healthy, Dion will be the biggest benefactor as the burden of facing incecent top line pressure will be shared equally between the pair. I know we've made jokes about Dion facing Detroit more, but without a healthy Gunnerson, Dion might have a nervous breakdown before years end, or a 50 game suspension for blind siding Datsyuk...in the warmup. |

Seems a little light on RAM to me if there is that much multi-tasking. I would consider bumping up to 8GB |

6gb of Ram should be the minimum but 8gb is optimal especially with Win 8. |

Just read an article about the floods that are going on in Southern US...some guy tried to swim out to save his daughter, who was trapped in a car with water rising rapidly, and was swept away and died only to have the water levels taper off seconds later.
Feel pretty poopty about that |

Even with Windows 7 RAM will be the thing that determines performance more than processor speed in a multi tasking environment |

Touch screen is nice if you have it as an option with win 8 but I do most of my work on win7 system, I prefer it. I also have a few ram intensive apps running so ram amount is important to me. |

That is very tough indeed. The one I am struggling with is the 2 boys in NB killed by the python.
If I am the parent I don't think i could recover. |

neither is a viable option- both have windows 8.
See if you can find a computer running windows 2000 or XP. |
