Luongo has nothing to prove to anyone. Who would it be -- the rumor-mongering blogosphere, or fans that set their own city on fire when they lose? Can't think of two groups I'm aiming to please less if I'm Roberto.

Sure, he has issues in the SCF a couple years ago, that happens. Price has a little to prove, but I think that's a matter of consistency rather than skill and value to the organization.

There are even a few Canucks fans who don't even live in Vancouver, but I'm sure those select few were still rioting from afar in spirit...

Don't recall too many Canucks fans blaming the "issues" they had in the SCF on Luongo. Pretty sure most blamed it on not being able to score more than 8 goals in 7 games.

as far as im concerned, neither has won a CUP and so they both have everything to prove in the NHL.
