I agree with you Eric. Price is not safe and the entire thought around his "pedigree" being enough is surely under review in Montreal. Price is NOT safe at all....this is a crucial year for him and the Habs!

While this is true, each and every NHL season until eternity will be crucial for any goalie starting for the Habs. For that you gotta thank 1) Roy's legendary career and 2) Huge TV screens will HD slow-motion replays that make everybody overanalyze every fraction of second of how the goalie moved so they can be whining "oh my GODDD he should have made that save!!!"

his defence was not the issue last year. Montreal constantly outshot and outpossessed the opposition last year, and things were fine through 40 games. take Price's performance in game 1 against Ottawa. look at those goals he gave up in the third period to hand Ottawa the game. that wasn't the defence...
