Exact. We had a golden retriever at home when I was younger, we had to put him down because he had (frank)ed up hips at 8yrs old. Awesome dog though

The dog didn't digest dog food...she had to boil pastas and ground beef every evening to feed it. Still threw up at least once or twice a week. And it ate its own poop (then threw it up in the house).

They had it for at least 5-6 years...

I hunted with a buddy with a Chesapeake Bay retriever, go thru ice to get birds and swim for miles. Had to get boat sometimes to get the dog in the middle of river still chasing a diver duck.

Went to the pet shop last weekend and my GF fell in love with that :

My cousin has 2 brown and 1 black, they're trained for duck hunting...never seen better dogs. Once they finish eating one of them stacks the bowls and puts them away.
