so yesterday was interesting . . .

I'm on my way home from Home Depot with some glue to fix my drain for the central air and I get a call from my son. After the usual niceties he says "I'm about to ruin your day" and I'm like "ok what did you do?" Turns out the back tire came off the truck while he was on his way over to see my wife getting tattooed. The tire came off right in front of City Hall. He'd been out helping one of his design teachers build a platform for his daughters wedding and had just been on the highway so I guess we're lucky it didn't happen then.

Somehow the lug nuts had backed themselves off, and I always torque the (frank)ers down to 110ftlbs. Aluminum rims and the holes are wore oval on that one now so I guess I'll have to put the original ones back on it. Tore the back half of the rear fender off and poop what a mess. This all happened at about 15:00 and I never did get a chance to fix the drain.

Last night was also our division championship game for pool. Needless to say I was having doubts about how I would perform given the circumstances earlier but I shot a 37/40 and we won the championship.

My wife never even had to play her last game
