I'm disapointed. I expected a "Wines from Quebec are too soft" type of answer

The site is not currently up to date by any standard, And, I am not listed on the employee list, I rep our area out of town and do not work in the store. More wines are added all the time.

BC is most known for the Pinot Noir, which is an amazing wine, but one of the lighter reds.

I find them a little over priced. Is it just me or Oregon, Washington wines way too fruity?

Tried to give them a chance many times. We make awesome beers and ciders, and some good sparkling wines, but every red wine from Quebec I have tried has unfortunately been underwhelming.

Maybe I just need some suggestions

Shipping is a major influence with Canadian wines. We stopped carrying the BC wines, to much to get it here.

Yeah, that's what I thought. My favourite Quebec vineyard so far has been L'Orpailleur.

At a fund raiser a few weeks ago, Sid stayed after and signed autographs for 2.5 hours. They saw Marchands Lambo pull out when Sid started signing. He signed none.

It has to do with the length of growing season and intensity of the sun in the region. Canada will never grow quality RED wines, we do have the length of season for the big reds. Pinot fine, but no Cabs or Shiraz can mature here.

I remember being around Trois-Pistoles with my parents...visited a vineyard around, they liked the wine there but I think the owners failed the bottling

The black bench in known for it's deep reds, but hardly anything makes it out of the province and none of it gets listed with the LCBC. One of the vinyards sells some of it's wine @$1500 /case and sells out early. It's just black sage road, those vineyards yield the beautiful big reds.

Noted. Love Spanish and Portuguese wines.

Edit: Just saw it's $14.95 in Quebec. Do not even want to know how cheap it is elsewhere.

11.80 at the LCBO
