he needs to find a way to battle out of his slumps much, much quicker. slumps are fine. happen to everyone. but for a goalie getting paid $6.5 million/yr, you expect him to shake it off and get his game back. he just never seems to be able to dig his way out of that hole. he lost it after 40 games and never came close to getting it back last year. - DoubleDown
Very true!
"La force du mental" aka "Mental toughness"!
This line comes from the movie "Les Boys" and is very true in hockey; particularly goalies. Adding the fact that legendary goalies made history in Montreal in the past makes things that much more difficult IMO. It was a bold statement when Price admitted "he couldn't find solitude or peace in Montreal" but truth of the matter is, he was perhaps saying something that we refuse to hear or understand in Montreal. We could argue for days but IMO, the starting goalie position in Montreal is perhaps the toughest position in the NHL! Yes you read me right! lol
And the last person who was able to make a good job between the pipes was Patrick Roy. Many failed to the task including Theodore, Huet and now Price (so far).
If Carey gets traded, I wouldn't be surprise if he live up to the expectation he had when he was drafted: the next Roy-Brodeur. And what makes things more difficult is that the Montreal Canadiens organisation knows that very well! |

one of my friends has a miniature Schnauzer. Most annoying thing I've ever encountered in my life.
I hate small yapping stupid dogs. |

Your wife will be busy with the piglets and you'll be stuck with the rat.
Should have gone for a real dog. |

One day you'll understand that a relationship is based on compromise. Even though Pete might have preferred a bigger dog, he probably didn't care that much about which breed of dog they were getting. Pick your battles in a relationship, you can't win them all.

I do not like yappy dogs either.
If this one turns out to be yappy, it may contract lead poisoning |

Being stuck with a annoying little dog for 15 years sounds like a battle worth fighting for. |

That looks like a fine dog Sean.
Problem is, Mrs26 wants to take it with her when she travels.
Would I buy that it's own seat, or just charter a jet?
