Does Gaunce play pretty physical? Does he look like he could physically handle the 3rd line center role in Vancouver this year as a tough checker who could throw in a few points?

Think Linden with a bit of a mean strek in him. Kid drives the net out of habit. Will never be a huge point producer. Potential is probably a average scoring 2nd liner who is gonna be a captain in the NHL. And does everything other then scoring top notch. A big game player

If everything is fine ,would Lu have not comeout already and said I am excited to get started next year?
- VANTEL

Did he not say he will be at training camp? I think Lu is obviously not thrilled but not upset either.

At this point I don't care, just shut up, stop pucks and collect your cheques, otherwise retire. He wanted the long deal, he got it, he wants to be a starter, again he got his way. Lu has a better life than than most of us, why should we feel sorry for him.

Lu is like a husband staying together with a wife because of the kids. He has nowhere to go but he sure don't wanna be here.

Frankly at 5.3 I want someone who wants to be here . Just like paying a hooker. You want her to put her heart into it.

He said two weeks ago on the 1040 that the meeting in Fla between him and Roberto were very good. That was not the media . He said they had a good time. I heard Gillis say that myself.
- VANTEL

Yeah, the meeting went well, they had some good conversations, they drank some wine in the Florida sun. He never said everything's great between Lu and the team.

Love the sounds of that. Gotta know that Gillis is just craving him or Horvat to seize that #3 centre role at camp. Gaunce's style likely fits the role better than Schroeder. What the Canucks want out of the role anyways.

He actually did say things were very good.

You know he doesn't want to be here. I know it .His aunt Sylvia in Florenza knows it so why do we need another year of goalie controversy?

Because we can't get rid of him and The Godfather doesn't want to buy him out. Maybe he should ask his consigliere to make him an offer he can't refuse and then put the bloody head of his favorite horse in bed next to him.

The best thing he can do is keep his mouth shut or leave us ominous messages on twitter. I think he has learned from experience to think before he speaks. That is a good thing.

I know there are a few churchies as I like to call them in the locker room. How do you guys think that will effect the team going forward.

Hamhuis, Booth..who else? Hamhuis seems like a pretty reserved and well-liked guy, Booth seems like a nice guy too, but he's the definition of a dumb blonde. I doubt it causes any problems at all. Locker room problems don't seem to exist at all with this group, the media in this town would have been all over that by now, if there was even scepticism about it. Only locker room worries I have is the team tuning out a hardass like Torts and his right hand man, Sullivan. But these types of coaches have at least a one year shelf life, usually two years, and after that it's a bit of a wildcard IMO. AV has his problems with certain players, but he never had major issues with the entire team since he seemed pretty laid back for the most part.

You really want a tender moment and intimate talking with a hooker? The only thing that's tender will be your and her private parts and the only intimate things you'll be hearing is [censored]

My wife and I had a baby boy on Thursday. Now I've got a week off of work and about 6 months off of sleep.

Thanks, dude. It's pretty exciting. I've got one of each now and can stop forever.

It would be more likely that I can sleep at work, which is to say, no.
