I Love LA is a great song. Chelsea Dagger, on the other hand, is universally hated by everyone but Blackhawk fans.
- Predaceous

Of course it is! That's because if it is played a few times a game it means your team is getting it's a$$ handed to them!

Oh, that's what that song is? I had no idea. I always refered to it as the "duh duh duh" song. But yeah, has no appeal outside of Chicago as opposed to " an important part of the NHL Arena music experience."

Detroit one year also would play "Even The Losers" by Tom Petty when the opponent would score against them. I thought that was a good touch.
- ChicagoHope

now they always play everything is alright by motion city soundtrack when scored against. Not that bad i guess.

I'm not sure what Philadelphia's awful season has to do with music.

Hawks had a catchy little beat, not even a song that they would play before they would begin a power play in this past year's playoffs. The beat was catchy, but unfortunately that was the last I was pumped up because their power play was awful.

Back in the late '90s, the Oilers would play "Come out and Play" by The Offspring whenever a fight broke out. If it was timed right, they would start swinging the fists right at the "gotta keep them separated" part at the beginning.

Man, how did I forget that? This song should just be played in place of the national anthem. Or just make it the national anthem. So much better than "Welcome to the Jungle."

Let's drop Let the Bodies Hit the Floor, as well as any other Disturbed-esque bands from the 90s-present (this include you, Linkin Park). Also, per the original post, Limp Bizkit should never be played, in any capacity, at any place, not even for humor.

If we're gonna go with a Dropkick Murphys song, let's make it Do or Die or Fightstarter Karaoke, or one of the other songs off the first album before they began turning into a radio hit machine.

Slayer - Raining Blood (Pittsburgh currently plays it...for a finesse-oriented team???)
Iron Maiden - Aces High
Motorhead - Ace of Spades
Hatebreed - Prepare For War
Madball - Set it Off

Arent these close enough to each other to both be nixed?

No, one was by a manufactured crappy numetal band that got unnecessary radio play and was considered a hard song by many a "bro." Hatebreed, prior to the 3rd album, actually was a pioneer of the "metalcore" era of the mid-90s/early 200s.

They should play Perry Como during power plays and call them Citgo Petroleum 2:00 intermissions.

Again, I don't see what Philadelphia's abysmal season and/or team construction has to do with creating a good arena playlist. I suppose you're either trying to get a rise out of me or would rather discuss how bad a bad team is as opposed to keeping to the topic on hand. But sure, go ahead.
