From what I have seen he looks like a pretty damn good defensemen. Even with having some decent D prospects and no Offensive ones I am already liking Santini more (has nothing to do with Matteau being the pick that should of been forfeited). |

Why does the world revolve around Matt Ellis? Why was his AHL pay bumped from $105, 000 to $300, 000? He has won nothing and we can do much better with another veteran. |

Like I said, hes going to be a true shut down guy. Will probably get respectable offensive numbers, nothing too flashy, but he will be a solid defensive defenseman.
He won the Best Defenseman MVP at the U18 Worlds without registering a single point. |
