Callahan is a good player but buffalo needs players who are game breakers like Kane, Malkin and Crosby etc. I don't want to pay Callahan like the Rangers paid Drury amd Gomez. 7 mill per season would be too much. You might even have to pay a free agent next year league max to pick buffalo because pretty much no one wants to go there. Just tank this season and draft a star. Hawks and pens did that. Hagelin and Grabner are two of the fastest skaters in the NHL, period, and to try to differentiate between the two is rather inane. Greening, Karlsson, Stalberg..lots of speedy guys in the NHL, and since there is no head to head comp besides the Skills Comp which means nothing, we will never know who is the fastest. Hagelin did break Gartner's record though, which is impressive, but it's not like he is going to beat Grabner 10/10 times, every time.
