San Jose is where he would like to wind up, but thats not gonna happen - French-Connection
Why not? San Jose is still in win-now mode and he could be good in a tandem with Niemi. |

Flynn earns $638,000 this season, and will provide just as much offense as Hemsky

Out of the 3 California based teams, IMO, SJ has the best chance to get him next summer followed by ANA. LA is set with Quick for the next 8yrs. Hiller will be a UFA next summer and Doug Wilson has some decisions to make regarding big Joe, Marleau and Boyle which could free up some money and cap room to sign Miller.

Hemsky is garbage. Buffalo would lose big time on that deal. |

Some Oiler fans said that his value is comparable to Miller. Miller is not worth much, but come on. |

Hemsky is actually quite a good player when he's healthy...problem is...he rarely is...you wouldnt get much for Miller, which is why he hasnt been moved...you likely will just lose him for nothing instead |

Can some one tell me why darcy re-signed matt ellis to an AHL contract for $300, 000???? All his deals before were $105,000 in ahl besides the second year deal he last for one way of 500K...all this feel good and be nice to people GM and owner stuff will never win a cup. Top AHL scorers can had for 300K...I don't care about Matt Ellis and how he works hard to feed his family. $300, 000 for an AHL reject lol.

I was half-way to betting him about it. Loser can never post on hockeybuzz again.
Short of Hemmer missing 40+ games I don't see him being outscored by Flynn. |

There's literally no point in debating an AHL salary. It means less than nothing in the grand scheme. |
