Nothing wrong with that move. Anything to throw a goalie off. It was risky, you don't score you look like an idiot. It took some balls to try it.

Definitely.

Fair enough.
More of an opinion as they haven really broken through yet.

I think they have the depth and coaching though.
It's a matter of time imo.

Either way, certainly not a pushover and getting past them is nothing to take too lightly from la's perspective

Yeah, they have a lot of potential that's for sure.

Milbury is the most untalented/unknowledgeable hockey personality in the history of the game... He has to have a four-leaf clover stuck up his ass.

Oilers could easily make the playoffs next year. If they want it.

They've got a lot of world class players. They need to click though. This is the first year in a while now that I think management has set them up with a roster that it's possible to make the playoffs with.

It's not a big deal if the Oilers just miss the playoffs this year. It'll be a huge deal if they miss the playoffs the following year. A lot of expectations.. can't forget how young our key players are.

I think it's a huge deal if they miss again. aside from the obvious forever losing mentality these kids will learn, still missing in year 4 of a rebuild and 8 years running?? flat out not good enough. terrible in fact. personal doubt is bound to creep in, it's just human nature.
not to mention the distinct possibility the guys that are free agents might bolt for the door.

even if they get bounced early, they need to make the playoffs this year

San jose is a good team. hardly a strike against to say they had a tough time.
st. loo is elite.
hawks are the very best

Kopitar is 25.
Quick is 27.
Doughty is 23
Brown is 28
Voynov is 23
Richards is 28
Carter is 28.

Id hardly say theyre done and that was a last 'Gasp'.
That core is set for years

no, I didnt mean the team was done, the momentum..teams ride the winning for as long as they can till you got to change the chemistry a bit..I think LA will be there for sure in the playoffs..just not a stanley cup favorite
