If he comes into camp and dominates, but probably not. A year in the minors would be good for him.

In the AHL? Yeah, that seems most likely.

Thats a good reason that I would trade Yak...that was pitiful and its the main reason I don't like the kid

If you watched that full game, it wasn't that bad... The refs were royally (frank)ing the Oilers that night.

That would be te way to go. The Oilers have enough guys to fill that spot for now. It would be nice to get a solid 1 2 guy right now though.

I was ok with it, he was pumped after scoring it. He just better not make a habbit of it.

I watched more than 1 Oilers game and I thought by his reaction that they had won the cup...yes it was that bad

It was over the top. Like I said, he gets one free pass that's it for me. It's a reason OV pissed me off.

I'd love a #1 or #2 guy, but it all depends on the cost of course.

Same with me, I do not know what it is with Russian celebrations but I should start watching the KHL more often, the championship seems to be won every time a russian scores! maybe thats why Ilya went to the KHL, he didnt have enough to celebrate on the Devils

I have no problem with it at all... It's entertaining for the fans (whether they love it or hate it, it gets people talking). I don't care if he hurts the opposition's feelings. These guys are adults, and they get paid millions to play a sport... To all the players who complain, I say, "Suck it up, buttercups... Your lives aren't that bad"

Overblown? Wow..
Mismanaged badly, but hardly overblown.
Have you ever checked out from something? Very difficult to get your head back into it, contract or not.

- StargateSG1

It's his job.

"Well i thought id be traded, how am i ever gonna play with jersey on again"!?

Mismanaged or not, its all just silly media stuff.
Its done, hes the guy. Now get to work.
Which is what he'll do. Hes never been anything but a true professional

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-OJgZkiunA even some of the Oilers were divided on what he should have done

I can't believe that last comment by Krueger...what a knobhead...no wonder he was canned

they made one last "run"..coming back in that series vs the Blues with the 4 straight wins..but u could tell from that point on any win was a struggle..they were lucky to beat San Jose really
- French-Connection

San jose is a good team. hardly a strike against to say they had a tough time.
st. loo is elite.
hawks are the very best

Kopitar is 25.
Quick is 27.
Doughty is 23
Brown is 28
Voynov is 23
Richards is 28
Carter is 28.

Id hardly say theyre done and that was a last 'Gasp'.
That core is set for years

I like you frenchie but I have to agree with this post...your other hunch that Oilers are magically going to break out may not work out either...Kings aren't going anywhere any time soon...they'll be a contender for a good 5 years at least before they drop off ANY

After watching the full video, I was more shocked that Krueger would allow that type of celebration 25 more times...

Just making a joke that as long as he's scoring, he's alright with it. I agree with him.

What if he were really ok with him celebrating like that every time he scored? I think he would be ok with it, which of the coaches allowed that insane spin move on the shoot out on the Oilers? That was insane too, and I really think that kind of stuff should be knocked out of that lockerroom quickly...they're having too much "fun" and not respecting the game...its odd...fans liked it though

The really funny thing about the Omark shootout move is that the the main guy who was b1tching about it (Marty St. Louis) has done the same move a bunch of times. Players complaining about that sort of stuff need more troubles in their lives.

Oddly enough, I only hated it because Milbury agreed with it, and thats the first thing I saw as far as media goes...Milbury agreeing with it...I instantly disagree with everything that blowhard has to say I didn't see much wrong with the move itself though...

Nothing wrong with that move. Anything to throw a goalie off. It was risky, you don't score you look like an idiot. It took some balls to try it.

Fair enough.
More of an opinion as they haven really broken through yet.

I think they have the depth and coaching though.
It's a matter of time imo.

Either way, certainly not a pushover and getting past them is nothing to take too lightly from la's perspective

Milbury is the most untalented/unknowledgeable hockey personality in the history of the game... He has to have a four-leaf clover stuck up his ass.
