Teravainen had 2 goals and an assist in Finland's 6-5 OT win over team USA. It's always nice to see a prospect play well on the international stage. I hope TT lives up to his hype.

Speaking as a member of the Choctaw Nation and a descendant of multiple participants of the Trail of Tears I can say most see the Blackhawks logo as a tribute rather than demeaning in any way. I get requests for hats and gear every time I head back to Arkansas - and they aren't exactly hockey fanatics either.

The tribute is reinforced by Blackhawk management's strong and active relationships with a number of tribes. Also helped preserve the Eternal Indian statue on the Rock River and honor native American veterans quite frequently - at least 3 times in this year's playoffs if I recall correctly (maybe more).

The Cleveland Indian logo is an insult. The Redskins logo and name less so.

That said, lighten up Francis. It is self appointed enforcers of the PC who turn things like this into an infringement of free speech. That is more sacred than any group's pride.

Damn, the Kane one will be hard. I almost joined on previous occasions to take people to task for that one. cause you know ppg player grow on trees. I freely admit I am not the biggest Q fan. That being said, only a fool would not appreciate the 2 Cups he has been at the helm for.

The sad thing during that season, we knew there was going to be a bloodletting after the season. So, there will be no looking back other than fondly on that team for me. It allowed me to finally get over 71.

The whole trade Seabrook convo drove me nuts. He is a special player. And by special I mean if he was on the trade market, 29 GM's are picking up their phone and asking what do you want for him. As a D-man, Buff is a very good power forward.
