That's cool. The criteria I went with wasn't about longevity and top production. Just very skilled and amazing players to watch. Giroux, Forsberg, Carter.

My exact 3 for the same reason. Forsberg got me back into hockey very quickly after the lock out.

I went Roenick, Primeau and Briere. Since Bill said to choose a center of the year 2000s, to me that means between 2000-2010. Within this time I looked at playoff performance and longevity as a flyer. The bulk of Giroux's work has come after from 2010 or later.

It just seems unfair to ask to this point and add Giroux to the equation. There is no cut off point so clearly Giroux wins. In which case I have to go Giroux, Briere, Richards.

How? Briere had more goals against while on the ice than goals scored while he was on the ice. Briere was a liability when not scoring.
- Richieattack18

I'd like to see you quantify that? And I guess when all those goals scored against when Briere was on the ice, was all his fault, as he was the only player out there? What was Briere's GAA?

I can only imagine what the Flyers would accomplish if players like Peter Forsberg or Chris Pronger could do if they were able to stay healthy beyond two full seasons.
