Haha he was that bad huh? Addition through subtraction. Its your bottom six that scares me. the rest of your team i feel can make the playoffs.
Top 6, while small, can match up with any top 6 in the league skill wise.
Defense, while you got depth, thats for sure. it seemed to do ok last season, hopefully schultz continues to improve, petry has another good season, smid plays well, ference fits in, and 2 of the rag tagged leftovers can give you serviceable minutes.
Dubey is fine for now, hopefully builds on a pretty decent season. Weird case. Every time i see him hes very meh, often letting in a stinker. But then i looks at his stats and he has a 920 sv%. So he must be doing something right.

I'll be one of the guys to say Jonesuu will have a great season in an Oilers uniform. If we could do anything that could land us Boyes and send out Hemsky. We would add that secondary scoring we so desperately need. With Boyes in and Hemsky out we also add some toughness to our bottom half.

I don't know why having Hemsky on the third line is a bad thing... Hemmer plays the tough opposition and can play a top six roll in case of injury.

I dunno about that. I can't stand most of the blogs but I enjoy the banter on here with the likes of Raveen, Iggysbf, jailbait ,Morris, laughs, HallFan etc...sometimes it's hockey, sometimes it isn't , depending on what's happening. I think we would have more hockey talk on here if we were not battling the trolls Cloutier baits. My biggest complaint is that Clouts doesn't really watch hockey. I'm not saying I know every 4th liner on every non playoff team in the east, but That doesn't mean they "suck" or are "meh", just cuz I'm not familiar with them. If I were to comment, I would at least do some research. Does Clouts ever even do that?

Really? I think he goes to Oiler games but pretty much just watches highlights and that's about it. He has as much hockey knowledge as the Edmonton Sun provides. Just look at his Joensuu comment on the blog. Look at how he said Belov would probably be an AHLer. Not saying I have the book on those two (frank)s , but knowing that, I'm not going to comment on them. Remember all that sh1t about "the Kids are not the problem". He's only about 50% right there. The Fab 5 all have plenty of growth opportunities when it comes to their defensive games, but Cloutier has never seemed to notice.
