Does any current Flyer or Prospect hit this list (besides Timmo)??? Hypothetically, if Streit's past seasons were all with Flyers - he would make the list. I'm not sure - at his stage in his career - if he could make it now. But, he's the only hope I see. I just don't think Gus, Ghost, Haag, or Morin have a chance. Could be good defenseman, but not on this list. - leon neon
Well I know he is in the doghouse, injured and is possibly going to be on the trade or UFA bus outta here, but if he would get some Power Play time, I think Meszaros could make the list. He's only 27, and he does have a booming shot from the point and a history of PP success in his rookie years with Ottawa. Unfortunatly here, when he's been healthy, he's been stuck behind Pronger, Kimmo, Carle and whichever forwards the Flyers have been using on the point. His 2010/11, 32- point season 26 of them were at even strength. |

Hockeytown, USA?
Now that Detroit is bankrupt and will need to sell of all of its assets, can we buy that name from them? |

I think one of the defining characteristics of Philly sports is the large number of people who follow all four major sports. (And college bball). Other cities don't really have that. |

Don't mind the NFL too much. I hate that I can't go to the grocery store, the mall, any Philadelphia sporting event, or any public place at all between September and January without some witty bastard screaming 'E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!" at the top of their lungs. I've actually gotten into arguments at Flyers games about it. You don't see poop like that in other towns. |

I cant stand when those Igglemonkeys do that. Then again, most Iggles monkeys are the first generation of their families to walk upright and are still trying to grasp that they shouldn't be throwing their own feces at each other during games.

I turn off adblock on sites I want to support, like this one since I enjoy Bill's column so much.
Got Salvation Army and Comcast ads showing right now. It's a small price to pay, much smaller than subscribing. |

But (frank) it, I'll admit I was happy when that sissy primadona drug addict Irvin was laid out. Dude talked so much poop, I wasn't upset. Glad he's able to walk and all, but I woulda have cheered loudest of anyone.
Ray Lewis, on the other hand, I was hoping would get crippled on every play. And I really don't care is someone breaks both of Vick's legs. |

This will (God-willing) be Beaver Stadium if they ever do that Flyers-Penguins outdoor game and it snows. |

I was at that game with the snowballs. I will never forget it, and I will never go to another Eagles game.
They were starting fights in the line to get in to the game. They beat up a guy with a 49er jersey. Someone set a car on fire that had a 49er sticker on it. A few other cars got vandalized, many more after the game.
I watched them pummel a security guard in my own section after a woman hit him in the back of the head with a snowball. When they tried to take her out, they started fighting the guards.
Bunch of animals.

On a side note, I've been MIA which will explain the rapid change of topic. No word on Pietrangelo? Fascinating. I am very greatful that Holmgren is aggressive in getting the players he wants to keep signed and done... If I was a Blues fan I'd be chewing my fingernails.
Not to say they won't keep him but this has to be tough on their fans!
EDIT: And is Bryz going to Siberia yet?
No Gagne update? |

I'm a PSU alum and a veteran of Flyers/Pens conversations.
If you think their won't be fights at that game at Beaver stadium, with HOURS of tailgating, YOU ARE NUTS. |
