Lost their edge over the last decade.

Every time I play the older CDs I tell people they are the best band you never heard of.

Many agree

No one will ever give Garth any credit for it, but the info on prospects in this blog is way better than anything that other guy puts out.

I totally agree , It is so fashionable to bash Garth and discount his work . And this so called support campaign for Kevin is laughable . We have two bloggers as much as you all disdain one, you have driven the other to post terrible blogs just to try and keep all the whiners happy. Stop the whining about Garth and let Kevin develop at his own pace rather than driving him to put out quantity over quality

I think we have built up Armia a bit too much in our anticipation waiting for him to come play in North America. I expect ups and downs like any other 1st round pick in his first year in the NHL. That is if he plays much in Buffalo this year.

I love the older Hip as well and have told people in middle America the same thing. The Hip is the best band they've never heard of, that is only big in Canada and border towns like Buffalo, Detroit and I'm only guessing but Seattle. I need to get a ticket for Friday's concert. The Lowest of the Low is opening for them and I really like that band too. If those bands had better marketers/PR people maybe they would have made it bigger deeper in the USA.

Joel Armia is too old to play in the WJC...1994 births are the oldest. That might explain why he wasnt invited to the WJC camp.
