It's why I stopped replying to this. And for the Calgary Flames fan who posted that GIF, that's not the original... Go look at the original GIF on google, or find other video online showing me a plane... Good luck.

There is no point to this in this forum. Comments were blown-up and way out of proportion. This topic is hotly contested by people who believe what the government tells them, just like anyone who believes what they believe based on the evidence at hand will tell you otherwise. If you haven't, or don't want to examine the evidence, as well as the political and economic ramifications of 9/11, no worries, no point in arguing.

what sucks for you conspiracy nut jobs is that the evidence is pretty overwhelming that a passenger airliner crashed into the World Trade Center.

It's pretty hard to invent something else doing it.

They could have gotten the picks and kept ROR.

I feel like the league would have intervened if that was the case, but it would've been hilarious

It was more a tongue in cheek comment. I think teams get too attached to players and value them way too high. ROR being one of them. They should not have matched that.
- PhillySportsGuy

It is true, they shouldnt have matched it, but they also sholdnt have gotten to that point and painted themslves into a corner negotiating like they did with him.

Looking back now they could have still had 3 great centers, and potentially drafted a good D prospect like Nurse at that position with even more cap room.
I have faith that the new management regime will figure out this roster mess

It's been completely debunked.

The lower floors were burning for hours.

It was not a controlled demolition.

Shouldn't you be out hunting for sasquatch?

Wow you really did buy it.

No matter what, the Flames are so lucky the Avs matched that.

So who wants to let our all-time win record and decades-long consistent playoff attendance know that we're horribly run?

I've watched all the conspiracy videos and there are outstanding questions. I remember watching the 9/11 coverage on the news and wondered why there was molten metal and sparks coming out some hole in the building well below where the plane hit.

Other than that - of course the wool is being pulled over our eyes, democracy is dead.

- BigDre

I watched it live, how exactly were the floors under the crash all exploding at equal intervals one floor at a time? how did the building just fall straight down? It's really not hard to watch the video of the towers collapsing as well as a controlled demolition to realize it was controlled, people want to live in ignorance though that's fine, ignorance is bliss.

Listen, maybe I need to clarify this. At no point did I say, or do I think, that anything BUT a passenger plane(s) flown by Middle Eastern radicals crashed into the World Trade Centers. That's a fact, it was broadcast on National TV around the world...

I also do not dismiss that the attacks were legitimate. I question the Government's knowledge of the incident, as well as their shockingly embarrassing attempt to "stop" it...

Yeah. Not the pentagon. Not building 7.

Structural engineers... Thousands of them... Also have major issues with a plane causing a complete free fall collapse of those buildings, and a fire causing the other one.

Yes, I surely did.

And you, a guy sitting in New Brunswick, has done enough research by watching a film to "get to the real truth."

My, how much smarterer you must be than the general public.

How do you guys feel about Duchene? Would you trade him for a young defense prospect?

Remember 10 years ago when Bob Clarke was the gm and he would trade away young talent for veterans? Well, apparently, Homer has been doing that ever since. We just didn't hear about any of it. When we traded Zhitnik for Coburn, it turned out that Coburn is Dominican with a fake birth certificate and he's actually 43.
- PhillySportsGuy

Well we did do that thing with Pronger but I still think that was a good deal considering what it did for us. In fact, what it's doing for us now. Pronger's been doing scouting, a little coaching, and isn't he like Luke Schenn's mentor or something? Someone said in a comment board that he called Luke Schenn after every game to tell him what he did right and wrong.

Zero evidence of a building hitting the Pentagon.

Other than, you know, the plane fuselage? And the dead people?

At the risk of getting banned, are you really this stupid?

- Atomic Wedgie

Yea a 757 hit the pentagon and made a 16' hole hahahaha awesome, so i'm guess the wings just folded into the plane then? they found 1 fuselage from a 757?? what happened to the rest? it just disappeared? LOL (frank) people are dumb

I think its funny that you guys are having a conspiracy debate on Cloutiers blog. I have always wondered how he got this job. Maybe there is a second writer?

in recent years the Flyers have been a disaster...not sure why people are so mad about this. Trade two top players to make room for a ridiculous contract for a goaltender that you buy out after a couple years. Then sign two older players to long term deals that take them into their late 30s

Sorry what two top players did we trade to clear room for Bryz? We traded Richie and Carter, but those were entirely unrelated moves.

As the top floors heated to incredible levels (remember, the fire was aided by jet fuel) the steel girders that made up the building heated.

Once that occured, the building's floors on top started falling. The weight of them collapsing started taking the floors below them out - what they refer to as "pancaking."

Pretty simple, really.

I didn't think you were this simple.

I don't believe 19 guys with box cutters pulled off the biggest attack on US soil in history.

Sorry, just my thoughts after looking at it for a while and changing my mind after seeing the evidence I've seen.

Could my mind change again? Sure.

Not saying I know what happened, but I don't buy the story you do.

There's different types of log jams, my friend. A log jam of 3/4/5/6/7 D men is still a log jam.

It was a good move. Pronger gave the team exactly what they needed. They couldn't foresee him getting PCS. I think the Flyers are very well run to give up 2 first rounders, a top d prospect and a top 6 winger, then lose Pronger after only 2 seasons and still have a contending team.

Funny thing is, your goaltending has not been the problem.

It's the fans scapegoating the goaltending, and the management sitting back and allowing it to happen.

I'll start with Cechmanek - who received the death sentence for having the audacity to get mad when the rest of the team quit during the playoffs.

And I'll book-end it with Bryz, who was clearly not the problem in Philly.

I do like Emery, though. I hope he does well - but he's one kick-save away from having his hip explode.

Amazing people still believing in those conspiracy theories even after they were debunked years ago...

Too many gullible people which feed into these conspirators hands.

Sad and hilarious at the same time.

Bryz wasn't 'the problem' but he certainly wasn't part of the solution. He tied up a lot of money for average goaltending.
