But its ok to post how much the Islander suck over and over again. First of all I never said the Rangers suck. I don't believe that. All I said was you guys are known for defense and goaltending not offense. WHat is wrong with this? It is the truth. You on the other hand said the ISles suck at everything. Ill give you the goaltending. Defense needs work no doubt but I like our offense.

also, you are the biggest ranger hater i've seen around. you go out of your way to put down the rangers as much as possible. i mean, i've entered flyers thread comments about a briere buyout and the first post i see is you saying "THE RANGERS WILL SIGN HIM TO A $80 MILLION/8 YEAR CONTRACT BECAUSE THEY DO THAT TO EVERY HIGH PROFILE UFA EVERY SINGLE SUMMER LOLOLOL".

and i saw that in basically every thread about a UFA.

Your offense is sub par. Deal with it. And I speak the truth, the isles scare nobody with a half decent d. Jag off.

I dont know man, they were 7th in the league last year in goals although they only scored 8 more goals than the Rangers.

I feel like Rangersaver needs to dissect how many of those were empty net goals, while inevitably blaming Tortex for world hunger..

You know, I found it tough not to root for isles in the playoffs last year because who doesn't love an underdog...but now I cant wait for them to fail after seeing how stupidly cocky their fans are. Who knew that making the playoffs as an eight seed in a half season with an old goalie who carried them for half the season automatically makes them perennial playoff contenders after almost a decade of failure to mediocrity at best.

What it comes down to is the isles overachieved and the rangers underachieved...and we still finished as a higher seed and made it to the 2nd round.

It should be entertaining trolling the isles thread next season when nabakov can't steal them a game, bailey gets back to his underperforming and inconsistent production, and while it would be awful and I dont wish this to happen, would be entertaining to see them struggle if either tavares or hamonic get injured for a stretch of time.

Strome being a bust, nino becoming a superstar, and clutterbuck being relegated to the 4th line permanently would be icing on the cake.

AHHHHHHH, I hate this time of year. NHL void. Make a statement Sather or Stepan. Give us hardcore fans SOMETHING to help our fix.

I'm guessing Stepan will still be allowed to attend the USA Orientation camp on 8/24. I was hoping that a rule that would exclude him would help getting him signed sooner, but since there is no skating, I'm guessing he'll be allowed to attend. I know he needs to be signed to actually play in Sochi though plus a holdout would seriously hurt his evaluation to make the team.

In the Dobber Hockey 2013-14 Fantasy Guide, they predict the following point totals for the Rangers Left Wings:

-Rick Nash: 76 games, 38 goals and 34 assists
-Chris Kreider: 74 games, 13 goals and 16 assists
-Benoit Pouliot: 17 goals and 22 assists
-Taylor Pyatt: 74 games 10 goals and 8 assists
-Darroll Powe: 2 goals and 7 assists

Some fantasy hockey projections. Would love to get those numbers out of Pouliot, but obviously those numbers wouldn't be acceptable for Kreider.

If Kreider had those numbers, we would all be upset and say he was a bust again

Fantasy projections always tend to be very conservative when it comes to young guys. I wouldn't be too concerned with it. Obviously Kreider is an integral part of the Rangers season and he really needs to net 20+ in my opionion for the Rangers offense to be successful.
