Just came across this on Brassard and Arniel. I heard there was some issues there, but I had no idea they were this bad. Those are some really strong words from Brassard's agent, only 1 1/2 years ago. Sure hope those hard feelings have been patched up, because those are the type of statements I can't imagine a coach would forget about too easily.

I think that's more a case of an agent trying to defend his player...plus the agent is allan walsh. not sure if you are familiar with him but he is quite...outspoken. check out his twitter page.

it's definitely something to watch, but, this is Alain Vigneault's team, not Scott Arniel's and I gotta believe this is something everyone involved is aware of and has no issue with.

In the Dobber Hockey Prospect Report, they look at the top prospects from each team and give a projection of when they might might become NHL players.

For Danny Kristo, they say that he will get a look this season, “cups of coffee,” but make a real run at a full-time roster spot in 2014-15

For JT Miller, Jesper Fast and Cam Talbot they say 2014-15.

They expect Chris Kreider to have a full-time role with the Rangers this season.

For Marek Hrivik, Michael St. Croix and Brady Skjei they think 2015-16.

Boo Nieves is projected for 2016-17.

I've done a complete 180 on JT Miller. Last year, I didn't think he was anywhere near NHL ready, but he really surprised me by the fact that he didn't look out of place on the roster. He seems to be the odd man out this year, especially with the signing of Pouliot, but I think that is kind of unfortunate. I hope that he as at least given a shot to make the team, although I am pretty sure that he will see plenty of time with the Rangers this year, even if he starts in Hartford.

You never know. If Miller impresses at camp, I'm sure he will have the opportunity to play when Cally and Hags are out. I agree, was very impressed with his overall game last year and I think if he didn't commit those blaringly obvious bad turnovers by passes right into the middle, etc... He would have stayed permanently in the lineup. So if he learned from his mistakes and doesn't commit those type of errors that make coaches put their hands over their faces, he may give Boyle and Moore a run for their spot. Miller is pretty gritty and I also remember him being really good in his own end backchecking and stripping the puck away.

since there isn't much going on, somebody wants to try and predict player stats for the upcoming season?

Kreider scores 28 goals and 23 assists. At the last home game of the year during the "shirts off our backs ceremony" I get picked to receive Kreider's jersey, even though I am not in attendance or in the same state. That is my prediction.

Brad Richards

23G 61A +17

I go to a home game, and catch Hank's game used stick during the 3 stars after the game.

I then run into Sam Woo and bash him over the head with it.

Sam Woo is truly built for being hit over the head with sticks.

But its ok to post how much the Islander suck over and over again. First of all I never said the Rangers suck. I don't believe that. All I said was you guys are known for defense and goaltending not offense. WHat is wrong with this? It is the truth. You on the other hand said the ISles suck at everything. Ill give you the goaltending. Defense needs work no doubt but I like our offense.
