I thought that's where they were planning on putting the Coyotes in 5 years when that new lease inevitably fails.

If he wants a 32 team league, he better be sure Phoenix, Florida, Tampa Bay, and Carolina are all viable long term markets.

My feeling is that the next commissioner will be the one who has to deal with his mess. I think we're due for some contraction soon from Bettman's over-reaching.

You need to understand a very simple principle.

Now that he's no longer playing for *insert favorite team name here*, he sucks.

It's just how it goes.

To me, an "impact player" is a top sixer who can be effective on a playoff team.

When Grabo was putting up points, it was on a bottom-feeding team. Lots of mediocre players manage to do that with inflated ice time.

For the first time in a long time, we're starting to accumulate some depth in the organization and that showed Grabo to be pretty ineffective.

As I've been going back and forth here, my counter is I don't think Grabo had inflated ice time amigo. If anything, Bozak was stealing much of that precious ice time.

Again, I used the word impact originally. Lupul has been more impactful to this team than Grabovski, please please don't argue this.

JVR, yes and plays a different position and fills a big need and is under a long term very reasonable contract and is an "asset"

Bozak, well no he has never been impactful so you got one there.

Lol the first two years after we got him from MTL, he scored more points against them than any other team.

Can't wait until he does that to us and then some.

He'll get just as many points as Bozak.
And if he gets 5 less while playing 2nd line minutes with second line wingers, he'd still be better

Two days until the start of the non-compliance buyout period, August 2nd to 4th.

Does this JML is on his way out?

we could beat this for days and hours on all angles, everyone will have their own view. thats how it works.

gbov will be missed by those who liked him, and those who didnt, well obviously they wont miss him. simple as that.

lets just hope the decision made by carlyle to remove grabovski from the team was the right one, because it was his decision. Nonis was beside burke when they signed gbov the year before for 5.5 @ 5...so he obviously had some input.

carlyle removed the A from grabo before game 1. why? nobody knows, he gave it to mcclemment and macarthur...why? nobody knows.

it was pretty obvious from day one that carlyle wasnt fond of grabovski.

Grabo would absolutely have gotten more points than Bozak if they were swapped for the year.

this isn't even debatable.

Not gonna argue about the decision to buy him out, or why they never put him with Kessel, but he absolutely would have been effective in an offensive situation.
