no. i dont think so.. because the only thing that cost the leafs was production which was provided by Kadri.

so all dropping grabovski down to the third line really did is put a new face on the checking centre.. the point production in the top two lines didnt really change at all.

so the ONLY difference in reducing grabo's ice time and playing him in a different role was the new look on defense. offense wasnt affected by the move.

so.. by your argument, the 11% decrease in ice time actually improved the leafs since it shored up a role that wasnt being adequately filled
