Even Bolland has some terrible advanced stats, Leaf fans better hope that those fancy stats mean nothing because it could be a long season otherwise |

But, but, bozak is better than grabovski. 2 more faceoff wins for every hundred faceoffs. - joel878
did kessel have a career year with bozak?
yes?
well then bozak is the best, it has nothing to do with kessel coming into his prime and being an elite talent in the league
he'd be nowhere without TB42 |

Tyler Bozak: Weak at goal scoring, bad at play making, not involved in the play and a drag on his team mates goal production. Not anywhere close to the same league as the others (and maybe be better suited for a different league too).

in 1993 I went to a card show and got Doug Gilmour to sign a card, I then traded that card for a few Jaun Guzman Rookie cards

i think that is a bit of a stretch
i'm no bozak fine by any means,
but he is a serviceable player, just happen to thrust into the first line role he doesn't quite fit
for now its not the biggest nightmare ever though, and i'm sure nonis is aware they need to be looking for someone to fill that role |

'As for Bozak, well, you simply don’t want him on your team. Maybe not at any price no matter what the bargain basement price is. I have tried and tried but I just can’t find any redeeming qualities for him outside of his ability to win face offs which has limited value. There simply is no reason why you would want to play him on any of your top 3 lines. None.'
Pretty much nails my feelings on the subject.

serious question RJ...
thoughts on the seguin trade? - dragus84
My thoughts...partying aspect, although probably a problem, was blown out of proportion. I think the Bruins are trying to snag another cup in the next, say 3 years, (I know that's stating the obvious) and mortgaging some of the future for an IMO immediate upgrade at wing for at least a season in Eriksson. I think they also knew they wanted to tie up Bergeron and Rask to long term contracts and kind of came to the recognition that they would have to part with Seguin to keep their 'core' together. Krejci, Bergeron, Rask, Lucic, and Seguin just isn't going to happen and Seguin was the most expendable and found himself on the outside looking in. Cap wise, partying wise, and quite frankly a lack of production left the Bruins with their hands tied. I don't like that they gave up on him so young, and actually I'm not convinced they did give up on him. I just think it was the path of least resistance and possibly the pinnacle return of the Stanley Cup. It also allowed to go out and get someone like Iginla, which was in the back of their mind throughout the proccess.
That being said, I think Seguin is going to have a great career, when he gets his poop together, which I think he will. I just think he didn't quite fit in, grasp, wait for it, Claude's system. Plus he is just awful in the playoffs
Silverlining...Bruins core is still relatively young and made the bullet easier to swallow, and Eriksson steadily puts up 70-80 points and Morrow is a very good prospect IMO.
