Keith Aucoin will be inducted into the AHL hall of fame at some point, so will Alexandre Giroux, doesn't mean I'd take them over guys who had 20-30 less points than them like Krejci, Parenteau or Versteeg. Look at Matt Moulson, never was in the top of any scoring races, never hit 30 goals in his life, now he's a perennial 30 goal man, the AHL can mold a game, but it can also distract from the NHL.

Ya I just don't think they want to sign up for another 6 year weight around their necks. Geez next year they finally get rid of Tucker's $$ etc at 2.5. With a Trade they are out in 3 on a lower overall number. Buyout does free up more per year but they don't need anywhere near Liles full salary gone to make it work.
