Why can't he be nice!!!
My second grade teacher was a nun. One day she told flat out I wasn't getting into heaven because my parents weren't married. Later that day she taught us about this medieval mass murderer who got in because he mumbled "I'm sorry" right before they hung him.
I guess his parent were married.

Early seventies so it was a transition period. They would give you a slap and wait to see if your parents came running before going a little further. My dad was beat by priests and got very protective when I received my first slap.
She never touched me again.

My third grade teacher told me the same thing because I wasn't baptized She pressured me during the whole year so I'd get baptized. I think they fired her a couple of years later because she'd do the same to every un-baptized child.
