80% of all players drafted never sniff the NHL, I don't see the point. It's a free asset who cares if it amounts to nothing.

I dont think Fasth will be a one hit wonder for Anaheim. He will be even better prepared for the upcoming season and take over as #1.

Nihlstorp will be nothing else than a AHL goalie.

Läck is probably ready to be a NHL backup?

Svedberg has huge potential and if he has Läcks patience he will get his chances to play in the NHL.

I'm interested to see if Gustaf Wesslau tries to give it another go in North America, he sucked balls the last time, but just won goalie of the year over there.


Also this Jonas Gunnarsson kid will probably get looked at in a few years.

No i dont think Wesslau has what it takes. Been very mediocre the last couple of seasons both in HV71 and Team Sweden. Just had a good team in front of him. Sometimes he just doesnt even look interested.

Salak was stellar all season. Hudacek is very very very inconsistent. When he's good he's freakin awesome but on a bad day he's like swiss cheese. Kinda like Rastislav Stana.

"Jonas Gunnarsson" sounds like something Joe Bowen would say doing the play-by-play on Leafs games.

Also, how can we have a discussion about undrafted goalies without mentioning one of the all-time greats, Curtis Joseph? Or Eddie Belfour?

Admittedly, those aren't very current, but I just learned that Dwayne Roloson was undrafted, as well.

I hope some scouts were fired for those blunders.

Martin Jones (Named to the AHL All-Star Team and will likely be the backup for Quick)

Jones will be starting in the AHL. Unless Scrivens ends up stinking it up as Quick's backup I don't see Jones getting any time in the NHL this season. Jones hasn't exactly shown the best consistency in his pro career so far.
