Clarkson's deal while risky is not horrible. Paying 4-5M for a top 6 forward was the going rate and Clarkson was the best FA on the board. While the deal can easily turn into a Brad Richards like contract it can also end up being a steal.

Price is a far better goaltender and the Habs will have approx. 20pts more than the Canucks this year...come to think of it...the Calgary Flames will probably have more points than the Canucks this year.

No they didn't. Oilers offer was 6 for 4 years. Still way too much but the 7 year term the Leafs gave him is what they will regret.

Both goalies are invited. One is younger, has a better contract, and more potential. I (as do a lot of others) rank Carey Price as one of the best goaltenders in the world.

You are actually very correct. It's the way "most" Canucks fans go about supporting their team that annoys everyone. We are all waiting for that moment when the team is not so good so we can all rub it in your sorry little faces because of the unreal cockiness and silly attitudes.
