Those are three of our best prospects. Boucher beat Stamkos's scoring record. Lou would be mad to risk losing him before we see what he can really do. I don't think the offer would be nearly that high, and I'm sure Buffalo won't give him away.

I think Oiler fans are quite logical while fans such as yourself hope and pray for a cup in Vancouver. You know its not happening and the small window the team had is closed.

As for being pegged as the starter, I don't think so. He has an invite. He's going to have to earn the starters role.

Its illogical to think Lou is going to be handed anything on the Olympic team. But keep on trying to hype your players. Lou's been on the way out of town for two years but management screwed it up so bad they had to trade the younger, cheaper, better long term option.

Cup Window is overrated, a team gets hot, anything can happen if your in the mix and catch lightning in a bottle, stay healthy etc. You obviously haven't been to Edmonton, theres alot of those fans here too, pretty sure there everywhere.

Last year the Canucks had the best 1-2 Goalie punch in the NHL

Now Schnieds is gone and Luongo has not told anyone through Twitter or in a press conference what he is going to do
If he bails on the Canucks
The Canucks will have lost both goalies the entire coaching staff and yet Gillis remains

I think if you sign a goalie for 12 years he is your man and I guess after two years of abuse by the fans and the organization he is back to being the man.
Lu is trying to decide between $$$$$$ and principlal. Won't be surprised if he shows up and plays hard and I won't be surprised if he sits out.

Two years abuse by the fans? You don't know what you're talking about. I agree with everything else you stated but come on, the fans still cheered hard for Lou during the past two years. Blame ownership first and MG second but the fans get a pass on this one. Lou has been treated quite well by the Canuck fans.
