I'm curious to see what kind of game Rolston will have them playing. He said when he took over it was too late in the season to try and make any changes to the system. He said that you need some time to do that. Seeing as how he'll actually have a training camp and everything, I'm interested to see what he does. He didn't have his choice of system in Rochester because they wanted the system there to mimic the NHL system.

He was the coach of USA Hockey's National Team Development program for a number of years. I don't know if he's ever been a head coach in college, but I know he was at least an assistant at Boston College before.

Training camp and preseason will be critical. Also RR has already shown he's more open minded than Ruff. Actually playing the backup goalie for example.

What I posted was based on what I remember hearing about when he was first hired. I think he also has experience at other colleges, but don't think he was a head coach. I could be wrong, but I am even lazier

I haven't looked it up, but I believe he was the Coach at Lake Superior State. It sounds familiar. But I could be wrong.

Well he did an amazing job with the US developmental program . Grooming young players . That is what he was hired for in Rochester . And with the rebuild that is what he will be doing here.
