the conversations I've had in Augello's thread the last few days, I take no offense this at all...

And to be fair, some of us said all along dealing Schneider is a very strong possibility.

The writing was on the wall. We were getting peanuts for Lu.

I still think he is gone also.

I think there is a good chance. Depending on how good he and Lack play.

in his defense, Kostka came out of nowhere to take what most thought was Blacker's spot... and that proved to be a massive mistake.

Mackenzie LeBrun and Elliot all suggested soon after the 1 st round exit that "don't be surprised if both goalies are gone. " I think they may have had some insider info.

Yeah, it's definitely got some heat, like Thai food, with the counterbalance of honey, but it's not sweet. Very smooth, and we drink it at room temperature, as opposed to keeping it in the freezer, which is also good and makes it more syrupy and soothing. When you feel a cold coming on, it's an excellent remedy.

That's not very nice. We are going to lump you in with P- rock, The President, J Bold, and UG . The 4 horsemen of the mental instatution

So like a trade for Miller and salary back to Buffalo? I wouldn't ship out anyone else for something like that. At this point he would probably waive to go anywhere.

I don't have a problem with that. I knew we were going to be a goalie graveyard again eventually.

I am ok with that as well. If Luongo stays and plays like he wants to be here I am ok with that too.

I think he will be gracious for this year if he needs to be.
I don't think he wants to be here so why pay someone 5.3 mil to twist his arm?

I don't know. Hard to say if he doesnt want to be here. Fired his agent for yapping off about the situation. He does want to be the starter. Personally, and I've said this before. I think Lu will be better. He learned that he isn't bigger then the team, that he can be replaced. Should ease the pressure he puts on himself

Yeah but we offersheet their stars for 5 mil ,and then the next thing you know ,they are offersheeting our stars next year like Weise and Weber for 5 mil, and then the next thing you know everyone costs 5 mil

Can't wait to see wh the first person to tell me that Weise and Yannik Weber are not bona-fide stars.

Can you formulate an actual argument as to why the Pens are in the same class as the Bruins and Blackhawks? Or any other actual contender for that matter?

You do realize we're talking about this upcoming season right? Not last season. You know who made the conference finals in 2012? The Coyotes. You know who got knocked out in he 1st round in 2012 and 2011? The Blackhawks.

Your assertion that Pittsburgh is so good, despite their recent failures and huge personnel losses for this upcoming season, is laughable. No wonder you can't come up with a rational reason why.

The Penguins belong in a second tier of contenders with teams like Anaheim and Washington.

Pitt has been one of the best teams in the league since 2006 and I dont see why that will change. They have arguably the best offense in the NHL. Crosby, Malkin, Kunitz, Neal, Dupuis. I expect them to be in the top 5 in the regular season and at that point anything is possible. Almost every hockey expert will agree that they are a top 5 team as do all professional betting sites. So quite frankly your "unprofessional" opinion doesnt mean much to me. You dont like them. good for you. Once the playoffs start anything is possible. Remember the kings won the cup squeaking into the playoffs. Were they a top 4 team in the top tier. Almost every expert would have put Vancouver in that top tier. So once the playoff starts anything is possible. I expect the pens to probably win their division and have top 3 seed going into the playoffs. Do they have holes?? Of course they do name one team that doesnt have holes.
