Flynn vs. Tropp, eh? I think they're pretty much the same player. Tropp adds a bit more energy and grit, while Flynn has more offensive skill. I wouldn't mind seeing both of them on the roster, filling out the 3rd and 4th lines, but I only think there will be room for one of them full time, unless Vanek and Stafford get shipped out.

I am not opposed to both making the team, esp if it keeps Kaleta in line

I see Flynn as a poor man's pommer who could put up 50 points in a full season

Tropp as a poor man's Mike Foligno who can get you 20 goals a year and takes no poop on the ice

I would like to find a way to give them both meaningful minutes with the big club but that would require trading staff

we are thin at LW prospects and moving staff should net the team a mid level prospect and some sort of pick

Tropp. If he would not have got hurt playing in the 1st game with the farm team because of the lock out he would have started with buffalo last season and most likely been in the top 5 on the team in points with a career year, well also bringing his physical play but he was robbed from it. I like watching Tropp play at the NHL leave and he is a strong player on special teams.
